Natural Dyeing

In 2022, we had the wonderful opportunity to have a arranged tour that focused on sustainable artists and small businesses on Bali. During this journey, we stumbled upon a charming and small hidden spot that was truly enchanting. Here, a young man, who is around my age, created his cozy atelier within the walls of his mother’s old house. As we explored the space, we noticed that everywhere we looked, something intriguing was boiling. This talented artist used leftover coconut and avocado pits to craft vibrant, natural ink colors, showcasing his creativity and sustainable practices in a truly inspiring way.
