Ramie (plant) Atelier

Whenever I'm in Bali for new Dora D productions, I find creative shops. This time, I discovered a small atelier making cotton and linen mixed with ramie. Ramie is a natural fiber, like linen, from the ramie plant in the nettle family.

Ramie is well-known for its impressive strength and its remarkable breathable effect, making it a highly recommended for a natural choose! It’s one of the oldest fibers to use, next to linnen and cotton and hennep.

We are happy to ad this sustainable fiber to the Dora D collection. Every year we also learn something new and we are happy to share this information with you!

Bringing OUR own drawings and styles. Together with this workshop, we are expanding the collection of Dora D. This is a beneficial and sustainable way of collaborating for all of us.
